HDPE Drums

Can PRNZ recycle it? Yes. PRNZ accepts HDPE drums and containers that have been properly prepared.

Why? Many industrial and commercial drums are made from recyclable HDPE plastic that can be turned into new products.

How should I prepare it for recycling?

  • Triple rinse the container.
  • Remove all lids, bungs and taps.
  • Ensure the container is completely empty.
  • Remove any remaining product residue.

What happens next? The plastic is processed and recycled into new products.

Top Tip - Containers that still contain chemicals or residue may not be accepted.
